How To Sell Virtual Models Of Goods Service?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi, everybody

Our company creates virtual models of goods. For example, we take a cell phone, create its virtual model and place it into website. After that a potential consumer can look at the cell phone on the website from different sides and angles, push buttons, etc. This way the consumer can try the product without actually buying one. You can see examples of this ides here: https://apeyron.ws/Demos/demos.html

This is relatively new technology that’s why a lot of companies don’t know about it. We are planning to sell our services via advertising agencies. I have a few questions regarding that:

- Will advertising agencies be interested in our services?
- How to get in touch with advertising agencies?
- What terms do advertising agencies work on?

I will be very grateful if you advise me any other method of selling.
Thanks for your attention

These days customers can take a washing-machine home and have it tested. If they do not like it they just return it at no cost. No need to tell what the difference really is.
I would say I see more opportunities for you in below the line promotional companies where small and not so expensive items might have a more enticing appeal and where customers are less likely to see it live.
Your torch is a good example while mobile not so much.
Anyway somebody good is already there: www.technologo.com

Neat product. I actually think mobile is a great example. It did take a really long time to load, though. Anything you can do to shorten that?

I think web design companies would be interested in your products.

Interesting application! I too think you may want to investigate additional strategic relationships in addition to just advertising agencies. You may elect to license your technology (if you have the necessary rights) to manufacturers directly or those that create prototypes, to name a few. Additionally, you should think about the various sectors/industries your very interesting tool can be used in (I can think of a few peripheral industries that may be interested - fashion, medical, etc.). I'd love to hear more about your product and the strategic plan for growth, I may be able to connect you with some folks that can assist with refining your plans and taking your company to the next growth level.
