    It's really simple.

You need to develop your strategy based on the organisations long term goals and objectives. That's where you start.

Then you develop ways to measure strategic success. And see how those metrics line up with the organisational goals.

If they don't line up, the strategy doesn't align, so start again.

    Hi!
Strategy has to be implemented by various units / divisions of your organisation thro' targets .
First, plan the targets, which must be derived from your corporate strategy..Get the Time-Frame also fixed.
Next, what are the Key-Indicators for the above Targets for different Div.Dont' go above 3-5 Targets .
Third, the divisional heads must work out how to achieve the targets in the time - frame.
You can use Balanced-Scorecard or X-Matrix methods .

A good strategy starts with the definition of the objectives, then the definition of the mission. But do not mistake your departments objectives with those of your company. In a good strategic plan, the vision and the desired end product may be more representative of your company's objectives and goals. That is why you need to align it up and down and up again when you are writing it. This is the techniques used by the QuickPlanner Plus system at www.quickplannerplus.com.
