Impact Of Internet On Personal Consumer Banking
After reading numerous literature about this topic, i am unsure as to whether the internet has a positive or negative impact on consumers. It is evident that the use of internet banking is influenced by consumer demographics such as age and socio-economic group. However, it is difficult to decide whether the impact of the internet is to just act as an additional distribution channel for personal consumer banking, or if it will eventually replace the need for branches, as society changes and demand more services to be at their convenience. I would be interested to establish how the internet has affected your own personal consumer banking, if it has at all. I personally think that it is an ideal alternative, i make use of it myself. However, i feel that this may be a generation thing.
