Do This Email Sell You On The Idea Of... ?

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I thought I'd tap into everyone's marketing know-how, as well as use some of you as testers at the same time.

So, here goes. We're sending out this HTML email [inactive link removed] sometime next week to potential resellers of our product, all of which already sell products and services to MLM companies (network marketing, direct sales). Those who receive this email have already received a direct mail piece from us with similar design & messaging.

1. Does it begin to sell you, or at least entice you, on the idea of becoming a reseller? (NOTE: This is just a giant image right now and hasn't been coded yet; nothing is clickable yet.)

2. How can we improve the messaging?

I'm with Michele as far as reaction. The fake software box screams "get rich quick"...no thanks to all the cheap ebook movements who have used this graphical representaion for years.

Plus, even though it uses the word "you" alot, I don't feel it is in the right context. Even on your website. Array wants the client to not only do all the work, but ALSO pay them a wholesale fee per user AND a minimum monthly fee...with no real stats of success other than mentioning "Tupperware uses us" at least a million times.

It may draw in the MLM "suckers" who think they may actually have a chance to make more money than you will from the product.

Having all that been said, if the MLM junkies are what you are after, I think you'll have them snowed no matter what you do.

    Good Luck!

P.S. Where were the pictures of yachts, private jets, limos, mansions, and champange? I must have overlooked it.
