    Una -

You wrote - wanna get approach to seeking local manufacturer or distributor in our dedicated industry with large size and good reputation/financial state of certain country.

Which certain country? Or is there a list? You might appreciate, there are going to be different solutions for different countries.

I don't know which country you are in, but you might try your home country's Department of Industry, Trade or Overseas Export to see what help they can give through their trade delegations in each foreign country you are targeting. That might help. Have you tried that?

    Good luck...

    Hi, Una,

    Try this website: www.hoovers.com

Best approach to use is to go to the link "Browse Industries. Search the pharmaceuticals and agicultural chemicals. This will return companies in those industries. You can go to their websites and look for their presence in the countries you are seeking.

    Hope this helps....good luck.

hi. why don't you make them come for you, rather than you chasing them?

idea 1: place an ad or banner (print or web) in the most read medium in certaincountryland (the main industry web portal, the "reseller network magazine", etc.) by your target audience. make it read something like: "grab your share of the business with us before your competitor does!".

idea 2: buy a mailing list of top or most likely companies to do business with you (ex.: subscribers to the "reseller network magazine" in certaincountryland) and fax them each a concise and teasing proposal, making sure that on top of the faxed sheet, in the upper right corner, you hand write the name of their competitor. it will induce a "hm... i'd better get this before my competitor here does" reaction. it worked well for some of our customers.

bottom line: think tom sawyer and the fence.

more ideas by mail, posting them all here helps your competitors as well :-)
