Your question is so vague - it's had to give you much direction. On my website, I have outlines of Strategies, business, and marketing plans. I have provided questions that must be answered for each section to put it all together.

You'll be asking the same question in 5 years.

You obviously have an idea of what you offer that no-one else can. What makes you different, your USP. Next step is to figureout HOW to reach a market that may or may not be mature with your product/service in a way that gets past the clutter of the market.

If you post a few more details, we'll be happy to share more.

I think you have heard enough good suggestions.I would add to it why you go to the market which, as you describe is already full? Does it mean that you have something innovative to offer which will satisy customers' needs in a better way?

Identify an important market need that isn't currently being satisfied. Then figure out how to satisfy it and put a dollar value on the solution. What would someone be willing to pay for that solution?

Once you have that, you're on your way to starting your business and entering the market.

Start by understanding your target consumer and his/her most important unmet needs.

Earlier replies are right - we need more information to help you fully.

However, as a start point in your launch strategy, you MUST know who your customers are and why they would buy what you're offering - in other words, you must segment your market effectively. That will give you the first step towards the positioning that Zahid referred to in his response above.

    Good luck,

somebody else have a nearly question as I, "I am currently looking for ideas on how to create a concept to go global with my company. But let me first bring you up to speed with the details. My company is established in France and we are active in the dental laser equipment market. Our intention is to go to the United States as so far we have no presence in this market. What would be a good concept to target this market and to make our move a success? And what way can we best get a presence in this market? Through distributors? Other channels?".
So, the thing is penetrating the market, but how, what steps do i have to follow?.
Adam said that i have have something innovative to offer which will satisy customers' needs in a better way, thats correct, and Bob talked about positining, and all the response are right, but any big enterprise of the same market, have the skills to enter in the segment that Im too, because they have the tecnology and they have the know how of the industry, and Im just starting and my strength is an innovative product with an special technology, What I should do?, How can I enter in this market and take more participation on this market, and take some of the big ones. Thanks for all guys.

It seems like you're afraid that once your idea gets out, that someone bigger (more resources) will simply take over and you'll lose your edge.

Am I stating the case properly? The truth is that if it is really innovative you may have to spend your effort on education more than anything. That's good because you can operate under the radar for a period of time....slowly and methodically.

It would seem that you need a consultant who knows the US market to help guide you in this. And you'll need a significant marketing budget to enter the US market. It's very large, as you know, and most customers are pretty sophisticated.

We have been involved with marketing technology solutions to the healthcare/medical community, and with helping European manufacturers enter the US market.

If you want to discuss this further, contact me using the email address in my profile. (Click on my name, then see the information displayed.)
