Click-through Fraud

I was working with a dealer today regarding co-op advertising. They want to us Google Adwords, but are concerned with Click-through fraud. What do you know about this and is there anyway to prevent it?

    Thank you very much, this was exactly what I was looking for. Puru & rnorth3, thanks for the articles, it cleared things up a bit. Because I do not have experience with this, I wasn't sure what to say to the dealer. I told them I'd look into it and get back to them. Thanks for all the insightful comments!
