Find the online communities that are interested in your book's subject, and participate in those communities. If you become a known & trusted expert resource, you'll sell some books.

By placing your book's url in the community, it increases the book's visibility to search engines, which helps sales. So always sign off your contribution with a url to your book.

Like Peter, there are a lot of people interested in writing and publishing our books. The problem is the difficulty to do it. Ebook could be a great alternative.

It will be interesting to find places that help future writers, where we could find free software, write the book online, receive support in legal procedures related to right of author aspects, to develop a community in charge of translation, advertising and selling activities (for example I speak Spanish, and so on).
