Web Site - How Can It Better Meet Our Goals

Posted by Anonymous on 950 Points
Hello,
We are in the process of on-going improvements to our company web site. I am looking for what works (helps move us toward our goals) and what doesn't work on this site. I appreciate feedback and ideas.

The sites goals are:
1. To provide information (and promote) our Service Management Software products.
2. Create leads by having people fill out our form for a free demo or calling the main number.

Web site: https://www.axcis.net/

Most people find us through listings/links on the QuickBooks site, or online searches. We currently get about 60-100 unique visitors a day to the site (20-60 new visitors)

There are a few specific industries that we target. Field tech industries such as IT & Telecom Contractors, Security Systems, HVAC,... any company that needs to create service orders, manage techs, track customer equipment, track inventory....

Thank you so much for your time. Let me know if you need more info.
Jo

    Here are some quick thoughts.

Firstly I like that it uses open space well.
I like the clean-nature of the site.
It is a bit wordy . . . Maybe move the comparison to a different page . . and in doing so, see if people actually navigate there.

the colors were a little bit blasse' but the content was pretty darn good. I disagree with mmelone about getting rid of the guy with the thinkpad..

    Here are some suggestions...
Industry specific white papers about how your software is working in some key industry. And perhaps industry specific application stories. I believe there are many people responsible for running service folks that would benefit from your software, but perhaps do not have the market, business savvy required to make the connection with your site. Remember lots of these people grew up on the technical side of the business.

I have 28 years experience in the Automation Service business. If you are interested I know a couple of people who could contribute.
