Need Sem Recommendation

Posted by Anonymous on 2900 Points
A NYC-based client is looking for an integrated search marketing firm to provide both SEO and PPC campaign management on an ongoing basis.

Their budget is under $10k/month for combined services and PPC keyword campaign costs.

Does anyone have recommendations?

Thanks,
Carrie

I'd strongly recommend the firm I once hired and now do some work for: Trafficdeveloper.com. They've been doing SEM, SEO and PPC (and other web development) for over ten years now. Contact Chris Kramer, President, at chris@trafficdeveloper.com

Depends on the specific needs, but two ideas:

    1. Tim Pepper (Pepper Blue) on this forum. He knows this stuff cold, but I don't know if he's accepting more clients right now. I've worked with him in the past, and we have a joint project now, and he's very good at this stuff. I'd at least ask him.

    2. Depending on where the priority is, you might look into Trada -- www.trada.com. They have an excellent track record and a very clever business model that all but guarantees success. If you want to pursue this, let me know. I have a contact there and I'll be glad to introduce you.

    Hello Carrie:

Some of the firms previously mentioned cater to large companies with sizable budgets (i.e., one has a minimum monthly agency/service fee of $3,500...a pretty hefty chunk of the total <$10k budget!). You may want to consider SEMPO as a resource for SEO/SEM information (it's a non-profit Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization):
    https://sempo.site-ym.com/

There are many free resources on that site (i.e., check out the Learning Center/Resource Library) and you also may be able to find a member company that would cater to smaller businesses and not charge as high a fee.

To help select the best provider for your needs, you might want to consider drafting a more formal RFP.

If your client happens to be looking for a full service marketing/ad agency (with integrated SEO/SEM/PPC), please let me know and I'll put my company's name into the hat as well! It would be helpful if you could provide the client name and/or industry and their objectives if you'd like more input/feedback.

    Best of luck!
    Steve

    Hi Carrie,

At the moment we are nearing capacity but are interested in learning more about this client's requirements to see if it is a good fit for both.

I can be reached through my profile if you or they wish to chat.

    Thanks.
