Ideas For A Car Dealership Anniversary Event

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
Hi, I'm organising a 55 day event to mark the 55th anniversary of a mult-franchise car dealership. The objective is to promote the brand, thank the community for their support over the years, and at the same time, promote the opening of new showrooms. I'd like some ideas as to how I can run an event over 55 days, without the message becoming stale.

Well fifty five days is quite a chunk to keep a campaign fresh. One thought is to have eight weeks (eight weeks = 56 days) with a different campaign each week. You have a car dealership, there must be eight models you offer, eight different kinds of clients, eight showrooms? The latter sounds the most likely as you're introducing new showrooms?

Does this sound anything that you could play with, especially with eight weeks to keep alive. That way you can change the focus each week to another showroom, and the ones that aren't featured can point to that celebration.

A little more info will allow us to suggest ideas more specific to your needs.

Hi! if you are dealing with multiple brands then..you can run a campaign for different brand each week… can you get vehicles going back 55 years ? if you can,, have them do a round of your city with maybe some halts in between to give away goody bags/ flyers
If you have a 'young' brand..organize maybe a car rally and you provide the vehicles. Take just about 10 teams but leverage on media
Maybe you have a brand which is 'safe' and suitable for an older age profile..run the rally for that age profile. Call it ..'fast & fabulous fortys/ fiftys..
    Good Luck
