by   |    |  1 view

MarketingVOX: This year, twice as many 18-24-year-olds than last year will watch CBS's online coverage of the NCAA men's basketball tournament, aka March Madness, writes MediaPost.
About 14 percent of those surveyed said they plan to watch some of the games online, according to Youth Trends, which polled 575 teens and college students online.
CBS is on track to pull in about $9 million?from the online streaming of games - more than double the revenue for the event a year ago.
About one in three 18-to-24-year-olds said they will watch some of the games throughout the month on TV or online, and the majority will be male.
Also, 60 percent said they plan to watch the games with friends or family, and 28 percent said they plan to fill out an online bracket sheet this year.
