Now There's an Owl for That

Sweet news, hardcore Twitter users! Hootsuite—the Twitter management tool developed with marketers in mind—just released an app for the iPhone. That means you can now access the handy features of Hootsuite in any old roost!

We first covered Hootsuite shortly after Canadian company Invoke Media launched the adorable owl-themed service. It made its mark with its ability to let users manage multiple Twitter accounts from one intuitive page. Plus, its link-shortening service, ow.ly, lets you promote wares while sharing cool sites with others. (When users click on your ow.ly link, you can add a frame just above the landing page that features a marketing message.)

Now, Hootsuite's iPhone app enables users to schedule tweets in advance, import and edit Twitter lists, and monitor mentions of their brands in the Twittersphere.


You can also track statistics—something that few comparable mobile apps let you do—and manage different accounts, including those on Facebook and LinkedIn, Ping.fm pseudonyms and Twitter handles.
