A Note to Readers
from Ann Handley
Chief Content Officer

Want to Be Featured on MarketingProfs?

We are looking for a few good businesses to feature in an upcoming MarketingProfs seminar led by Heather Lloyd-Martin. More specifically, we are looking for those who could use some free advice. (And who couldn't?)

In MarketingProfs Makeover: Optimizing Content for SEO, Heather will give your Search strategy the "What Not to Wear" treatment (but without any embarrassingly harsh three-way mirror critique), offering you suggestions for changes, tweaks and fine-tuning that will draw more customers to your site.

Here's how it works: First, Heather will offer SEO content development best-practices, keyphrase research techniques, and advice on editorial strategy. Then, she will review several websites (here's where you'd come in) and make suggestions for changes that can have an immediate impact. Plus, we'll have plenty of time for Q&A.

So if you've been tasked with writing SEO content but you're not sure what that means and how to start... and if you want to get your SEO copywriting groove on and want to volunteer for a live website review, email our own Kathy Bushman and raise your hand.

Don't want to volunteer? No problem. Still, you won't want to miss Heather's seminar.

PS: I'm at SocialTech 2010 today. Are you here too? Tackle me and say hello.*

*Kidding. I'd prefer that you approach in a nonthreatening way. Thanks.
