Know-How Exchange : Branding

Sometimes (all too often) there are battles between sales and marketing, and this may be one of these times. In this case, I'm going to take the sales side.

We have very little info to go on here... you and I have never met, I do not know your product, the country you are located in, your level of experience, and many other things. I'm trying to read "between the lines" the best I can, but I may be way off base...

... but if I were personally working for your company as a sales person, I would be very uncomfortable with you assessing my performance on a sales call. First, sales people typically work for sales managers, who look at things entirely differently than marketing managers. For example, as a sales person, I'd be much more worried about getting an order than the 4Ps. And second, I would be worried because it sounds like you are relatively inexperienced.

I believe you will need much, much more knowledge and experience to properly evaluate a salesperson than you can get from a few paragraphs in an online forum.
