Current Online Purchaser Demographics/segmentation

I am trying to identify the current demographics and segmentation of online users. I have found old information that dates back to 2000, but nothing (free) that is more current. Specifically, I am looking for age, gender, income, purchasing preferences, and trends to the future.

Any resources/suggestions are welcome.
