    Don't understand the question. Obviously service is an important element of the marketing mix in many industries/product categories. In some it's considered part of the product [offering]; in others it's literally a support element in the marketing mix.

    If we know the industry and product category, we can probably offer some thoughts on the effect of service on customer satisfaction.

    Otherwise the generic answer applies: "It depends."
