Sure you can start small, but if you're below a threshold of visibility, you're probably not going to get very much response for your investment.

The key, as Randall suggests, is setting realistic objectives and then developing a strategy and plan for achieving those objectives. There's no free lunch. If you want to reach 10 million target-audience customers and you only have $75 to spend, you're not going to get very far. If, on the other hand, you want to reach 10 very influential thought leaders, then $75 may be a realistic budget.

Give us some information, and we'll do our best to respond with helpful input.

When I started by consultancy on a shoestring, I wouldn't have been without PR, networking and email marketing .. all practically FREE (just takes a little time and effort).

PR - generate newsworthy PR stories and send them out to editors/prospects etc

Networking - local business associations or online networks that your target audience uses.

Email Marketing - with a bit of work, you could find email addresses for your prospects, then you need a well crafted email to attract them ... I used and still do a FREE Marketing Toolkit to help attract prospects.

    Good Luck
