I am assuming you want to teach now (as opposed to going back for your PhD)?

In the United States, top schools require a PhD to teach. The exception is that they will take someone who has really proven themselves in the non-academic world (politicians, company CEOs, etc.).

Non-top schools sometimes do use people with a mix of experience and education as instructors. For example, I teach for the University of Phoenix. Along with PhDs, they also hire people who have MBAs from an accredited school and 5 years work experience in the subject area they will be teaching.

What I would do is contact schools in the area that you want to teach and find out their requirements.
