    The key element is what does your product or service do for the customer. How does it save them money, save them time, make their life better, or similar.

    Think of it like this.

    It's the best reference your customer can give about your company, it's products or its services, or about a particular product or service.

    For example: ASVP Consulting's Balanced Scorecard workshops provide my business with a robust, rigorous, implementable strategy, a complete set of performance measures, and a regular review process to help our management team create more value for our customers and stronger returns for our shareholders.

    It should be in terms the customer would use, i.e. in the customer's own language and style.

    It should be very clear about the value to the customer's business.
