Good Placement Consultants Or Web Sites

Dear All,

I am working in an MNC in Steel Industry in Marketing to be specific.I am into my Training as of now but want to International presence or exposure.I already some valuable suggestions for the same.

Further can I ask you all to list some good International placement consultants or web sites to ease my search.

For your reference I want to make a career in Product Management and Brand Management and International Marketing.

    In America, placement consultants are not often used (as such, I have never used so can not recommend any). It is generally left to the job seeker to manage their own job path and find a job.

    Most recruiters in America work for the hiring company, so as such are not going to provide detailed support for a particular job seeker.

    There are some that do work for the job seeker and are paid for by the job seeker. My understanding is that the main benefit they provide is not introductions to companies or interviews, but resources regarding best practices (how to make your resume look good, how to find jobs, how to interview, etc.), reviewing what you have done (proof reading resume, letters, etc.), and providing a push to ensure that one is taking actions toward finding a job.

    One that is active in the Silicon Valley area and has a good reputation is Patti Wilson of the Career Company (https://www.careercompany.com/). You can take a look at her web site to get a feel for the types of activities career counselors do.
