Do Small Business Marketing Seminars Exist?

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
I am trying to find a solid small business marketing seminar. Most of the seminars I've seen have a corporate slant which helps to price out the small business. My boss is tempted to send me to the DMA/AIM: Creating Online and Offline Synergy Conference in February, however I'm afraid that the topics and strategies discussed will be impossible to implement even on a small scale in our business.

Are there any conferences that are geared towards the small eCommerce/Catalog business? The conference I would be interested in would cover search engine optimization, email marketing, merchandising, analytics, ROI metrics etc with focus on low priced soultions. We're a very small business with very small resources. I can't go to a seminar hosted by Blue Martini, when I'm on a ConversionRuler budget!

I strongly recommend (and do not make any money from) Ralph Wilson. Ralph has been running www.wilsonweb.com for years. While I''ve always focused on the corporate side of things, Ralph set himself up as an advocate of small biz.

He''s running a seminars series east of the Mississippi

but at $297 for the day, it''d be worth the trip.
    Ralph knows his stuff.

On the other hand, you could learn a heck of a lot just bumping around his website.
