CW, use the Search Questions link on the right side of this page and try the keyword "trade" or "exhibit." There have been quite a few good Q&A threads here about tradeshows... but what people CALL it varies!

Since you appear to be a new member and you haven't filled out your profile page, let me recommend that you click the Important Guidelines link on the right side of this page. The whole KHE community helped establish those guidelines.

In addition to finding some ideas in the Questions archive, you're bound to get some good, fresh stuff from the Experts here if you provide more detail. What kind of tradeshow? For what product? Who are your customers? That kind of thing...

    Welcome!

It would be handy to know what line of business you're in.

In a business which sold coin-op machines to a 99% male market, I've used models in swimsuits whom we trained to demo the product and answer all but the most tech questions. This meant not only did they look good, but the prospects could TALK to them as well. Which gave them a good excuse to hang around our booth... get the picture?

Great, but if you sell home knitting machines or the latest gizmo to pick up dog hair from carpet, maybe not such a well targeted idea...

Tell us a bit about what you're exhibiting at the trade show and let's see how this group's intellectual fierpower can turn on a display for you.
