Colors For Seasons

Posted by Peter (henna gaijin) on 125 Points
Have a situation where we produce 4 of this document a year (one for each season), and in part of the header we want to change colors to match the season. Winter we use white, spring green, and fall would be orange. But what color would be good for summer?

Do Google search on "color of seasons"

Wikipedia infers your spring color is not on target

I have included several PMS colors to give you an idea of what I see.

Summer equates to the aquamarine color we see in swimming pools and in tropical waters. (Something like PMS 2975).

Others see summer as a golden yellow. Either will work.

If you go with golden yellow for summer, (something like PMS 1235), then I would tone down the autumn orange to an earthier shade (something like PMS 1535).

BTW- to me, green is truly the color of spring... but it should be that fresh bright, green, the color of new grass. (PMS 375).
