Know-How Exchange : Career/Training

I'm asking on behalf of a colleague who has to do marketing as part of his job managing continuing education at a regional public university. (How meta--a continuing education staffer needs..... continuing education.)

I've already noted the UPCEA.edu marketing conference, AAACE, ACHE, MarketingProfs own seminars and American Marketing Association's vast array of offerings. I think MP and AMA would be too advanced for this generalist.

E-mail marketing techniques, landing page construction, social media marketing, search marketing are all possible topics he could use, but it's got to be at a fairly basic level. He's promoting paid webinars that satisfy continuing education licensing requirements for real estate appraisers.

Any ideas on where I could point him?
