Start by identifying your primary target audience. Interview a dozen people in that audience and see what their needs are and what words they use to describe their expectations and attitudes. How/where would they learn about new tracking systems like yours? What would they need to know before deciding to purchase such a system? What is a system like yours worth to them? How would they evaluate a proposal?

Don't try to convince them of anything or "lead the witness." Just ask your questions and take detailed notes (including the specific words and phrases they use).

After you have at least 12-15 good interviews step back and review your notes, or share them with us. Your marketing strategy will emerge from there.
