3d Virtual Tours

Has anyone seen a positive impact for time on site when a retail website includes a 3D Virtual Tour? I see a lot of pitches, but no data on the impact.

Likely this will depend on many factors, including: price point, target audience, comparative value, etc.

What type of retail business is your focus (eg, ladies fashion, ladies intimate apparel, swimwear, men's fashion, food, consumer goods, etc). What is the difficulty you are facing that has prompted your query? Why do you think there will be significant differences in results between types of retail operations depending on time on site viewing the 3D Virtual Tour? Have you looked at industries where online virtual tours are more accepted as 'normal', such as real estate sales and rental leases?
