How Best To Market Small Kitchen Appliances (mixers, Juicers, Food Dehydrators, Bread Machines, Grain Mills, Pressure Cookers Online

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I sell the above products online via search engine marketing and PPC search engines. I want to expand my marketing strategy. I want to establish a recipe club for opt-in marketing, but have not been able to find even one software package that does this. Any ideas???

First of all, I highly recommend eveything David said. Once you find out what they really want, start developing a newsletter or a "Members Only" area on your site.

Amanda's suggestions are top notch. I used bcentral for years and was very pleased. It's less than $200 a year and they keep track of everthing for you includung banner rotations, search engine rankings, SEO, click-through tracking etc.

However, you can get a more customized and personal touch from www.pepperblue.com. Tim Pepper, a Top 10 expert here, is a class act when it comes to email and e-newsletter creation/consultation. Much better than becoming "customer #245378" at one of the automated sites like bCentral.

If you are computer savvy, and wish to do it yourself, go to www.scriptsearch.com. They have THOUSANDS of programs in every format and platform.

    Good Luck!

    Hi Jackstar120:

The other experts pretty much have covered it all and it is great advice they gave you.

I just want to add that if you are thinking of going the do it yourself route, there is one other ASP company you need to look at:

    www.exacttarget.com

A caveat - it is very easy to get consumed with planning and implementing a permission-based email marketing program and this will be at the expense of being able to put less of your key resource of time into your other operational aspects.

I can give you more specifics and examples, contact me through clicking my profile on the right.
