Need Tagline For Hand Finished Wedding Stationary

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I'm going into business for myself, producing hand finished wedding stationary and birth announcement cards. I'll also be offering wedding favours and unique baby gifts. I read the post on the chef guy, who needed a name for his business, but you guys came up and said, your name should be the business name, and give a tagline to describe who you are / what you offer. Do you think this would work for my stationary? My name is Lisa Shaw? At first I thought that was naff, but now reading your advice to the chef, in this case, is my name my differentiator too? My cards are what sell me. Anyway, if you think my name is what the business name should be (competitors are the usual suspects when it comes to names - i.e. Forever Keepsakes, Away with Words, Caledonian Cards, Handmade Heaven and Invites to Envy. I offer 12 standard designs, and a bespoke service. I want to be known for offering the most creative, highest quality, fits in with your theme cards. Any help on tagline/name would be much appreciated! How about Lisa Shaw Designs? or Lisa Shaw Creations? Thanks a lot.

Since it's not just cards, why not call it

    The Shaw Company
    Hand crafted stationary and gifts.

In Italy, we call these gifts and favors "bomboniere", but I don't think that works in English.

    How about:

"our stationery outlasts five out of ten marriages?"

How about, "too good to be threw"

    Or "adding weight to words"

"for the bills you'd like to keep"

    :-)

    too far into left brain.
