Name For Customer Appreciation Event

Posted by sharongayphelps on 125 Points
I host my real estate clients at an Arboretum. They get admission for their families for all day, and drop by my rented pavilion for a cookout lunch. Held in October at peak leaf season. There are Arboretum activities - a treetop canopy walk, an observation tower climb, and just walking/hiking in garden and forest enviroment. I'm going to add a scavenger hunt of some sort this year. I need a better name than "Customer Appreciation Event". Thanks for your thoughts!

If you want to tie in the name of the Arboretum or your business, it would help to have those names as well.

Also, who's the target market for your business and how (in your mind) does this event connect to your market?

Who is your primary target audience? Where? What unique and important benefit can they expect when they deal with you?

Who is your competition? What do they promise?

    Thank you for your responses!
My event is for past customers, folks who have bought or sold homes using me as their real estate professional. The event is all about appreciation for their past business, and nurturing a relationship. From those relationships, as with any of my personal and business relationships, I hope to gain repeat business and referrals. But this is not an event for actively discussing or generating those. To address your questions:
The Arboretum is the Holden Arboretum in Kirtland OH. I do business as Sharon Gay Phelps, Howard Hanna Real Estate Services. My market is owner-occupied residential real estate sales in the greater Cleveland Oh area. Real Estate agents can be perceived as something of a commodity, so what differentiates me is the broadness and depth of my service in not just marketing and negotiations, but in the coordination, communication, and creative problem-solving it takes to keep a transaction together; the inclusion at my expense of professional home repair and improvement consultation, cleaning, staging, landscaping, and photography as well as referrals to other professionals and service providers as needed; plus I continue to act as a resource for such referrals after the transaction has closed. But this event is for people who know all this from previous experience with me. And they are the best source of spreading this knowledge through their referrals. I do invite my team of professionals to the event as well. My competition exists from the bare minimum to a long tail of some who are able to offer even higher levels of service and expertise.

    Some random thoughts:
    • A Peak Experience (For You)
    • Fall in Love Again
    • Nurture Yourself In Nature

Each of these names could have a subtitle/header which adds your name to the event, for example:
Howard Hanna Real Estate Presents: Nurture Yourself In Nature

Any name would, of course, be in the context of a flyer of some sort having your name, the location name, and stating the event is free of charge.

    Arboretum Cookout and Nature Walks
