Tagline Help For A Realtor (yes, Another One!)

Posted by Anonymous on 1250 Points
After searching the questions and answers as they relate to Realtors (yes, another one), I am searching for a memorable and humorous tagline.

Traits that I am known for:

1. My humor
2. ability to negotiate red tape, find answers or negotiate a solution for them - I don't give up until I find an answer, name and telephone number for them.
3. People tend to call me "Patsy" because my last name is spelled Cline (like Patsy Cline-country singer)
4. The color red
5. Get-it-done type of person
6. Networking ability - since my husband and I have 33 years combined local government experience -- I have great relationships with all the local govts - not the politicians, but the employees.

Difference between me and my competition (I am definitely not knocking the competition):

My background is real estate law and engineering. I worked as a negotiator for property rights for 15+ years before acquiring my real estate license.

Although I have buyer clientele, I want to focus my efforts first on sellers and secondly on buyers purchasing investment property.

Previous posts recommended taglines focused on referrals/relationships and/or personal brand relationships tied to results -- this is exactly what I want, I just don't have a clue where to start.

Also, since I live in the Charleston South Carolina area, should I involve the Southern thing or leave it alone?

Can someone help me?

Pam

What is the business name you use now, that this tagline should go with?

    Hi Pam,

First, I suggest you promote, if at all possible, yourself and not the agency or company. As we both know, affiliations change but the agent goes on forever! And really now, aren't you the one who is truly being marketed here? '-)

Second, your focus on getting listings is, as you know, a smart strategy.

Third, your tagline must be focused, expressable in one breath, and descriptive of the process and benefit you offer. If it's also brain 'sticky' all the better.

That said, and given what you've said about yourself, I had this 'hit' for your consideration:"Hi. I'm Pam . . . I'm the lady to know when you want your home to show beautifully and . . . sell quickly"

The words 'know' and 'show' form an auditory link (for stickiness). the words 'beautifully' and 'quickly' also share an auditory similarity . . . again, a 'sticky' factor that helps you to get in -- and stay in -- the mind of your prospects, clients and centers-of-influence.

The 'show' and 'sell' connection is an obvious but essential key to help you 're-mind' your listing prospects about what you do (show) and, most importantly, what you really do FOR your clients (sell).

I hope this helps you and I must say that Folly Beach and Isle of Palms are still great memories for me and my wife up here in CT!

    All the best,

    Bill

Are you after a "tagline" to use with a business card or signage, or after a brief intructory "elevator pitch"?

As a tagline for a card, letter, flyer or sign, I thought of

    "Selling's fine with Pammy Cline".

OK, I know you call yourself Pam Cline, but "Pammy Cline" is easier to say and more rhythmic. But hey, it's your name I'm messing with here so feel free to tell me go jump...

    Just an idea...
