The name you choose could be tailored to the market you wish to serve or a specific niche you may wish to target. In North America, we call pulses “beans” and most consumers would probably think Heinz baked beans in a metal can… while tasty to some, there is a lot of sugar and processing that diminishes some of the great nutritional value of the food. All that to say, you may want to consider names that have a global appeal and may or may not have anything to do with pulses, for example,

Poltos -- Greek word for pulses has a international and in my view a mysterious ring to it

The Protein Bean Co. – focus on the nutritional value of the food

B-vitamin beans – pulses are naturally high in vitamin B, fibre and can help lower cholesterol. Perhaps play up one of these attributes.
