Branding/marketing Campaign For A New Development Subdivision

Does anyone have any resources about marketing/branding a new development subdivision, including examples of past success, ideas, strategies. This is a unique subdivision, only one other like it in the state, but I want some opinions based off success.

    Any good text should be able to help here, you could also try "Brand Manners" Pringle and Gordon, which talks in length about the importance of branding from inside the organisation/subdivision.
