"my Florist" New Florist In Supermarket

Posted by KHirsch816 on 500 Points
Need a tag line for a new florist located within a supermarket. Will have expert floral designs with highest quality flowers, but low prices. Need a tag line so people will know they are going to get superior quality for lesss money. Have to establish a way for people not to assume they will be getting supermarket
inferior flowers to a regular florist. Help

People don't generally equate "expertise" & "high quality" with "low prices"...unless you've figured out a more efficient way to source flowers and/or trained people to be experts efficiently. Why should the public believe your expert/quality/superior claims? Otherwise, we can only provide some generic taglines -- which really won't help overcome people's "stereotypes".

You could focus on the idea the you reduce fixed costs by not having to pay for a stand alone floral shop. Kind of like a florist shop without walls. You can sell higher quality for less b/c you are operating in a more cost efficient environment. Here are some tags along those lines.

Boutique quality flowers without boutique prices

Florist shop flowers at supermarket prices

Boutique shop flowers at supermarket prices

We eliminated the floral boutique, and the high prices

High quality flowers without high priced walls

As a somewhat-hopeless romantic, I often stop at the supermarket on the way home to bring my wife flowers, so I can understand your goal of differentiating yourself from the pack. Here are my observations.

Of the many hundreds of purchases I have made, in none of them did I know or care about the name of the florist or their tagline. They won me because they were between the fruit and the milk, and they had good fresh flowers and a great display.

Usually, the discount stores have poor flowers and the expensive outlets have good flowers (and charge more), the exception being Sam's who always has the best (but it is such a hassle getting in and out of there). If you are going high-end, you need to be in the type of store that attracts upscale shoppers.

The other factor is size of area and display. The larger the area, the more you will be perceived as a stand-alone florist. And of course, lots of items at eye-level. I am amazed at how many grocers put their flowers on the ground where fewer people can see them and as if they were only worthy of stepping on.

All that said, my tagline suggestion: "Fresh Flowers"
    That's really all you need.

    Best of Luck, JohnnyB.

Since my wife was a floral designer for 15 years I know it's the designer, not the flowers that are the main issue. A good designer can fix bad flowers. A bad designer will ruin good flowers.

    'Real roses at dandelion prices'

'Real roses at pick them yourself prices'

    Fresh flowers, affordable prices.

Quality flowers for a fair price.

Blooms so good and at prices you can afford to have three affairs.

And, just because I can...... Tiger Woods Floral Shop, bulk prices for philanderers, ask about our 'cheater's specials' :-) Sorry, just couldn't resist.
