I have a upholstery and carpet cleaning in Israel and as a service business my potential customer base has about a 30 mile radius. I have a Facebook business page I would like to know how to target my demographic market. Married women between 25 to 70.

thanks

One way to promote your brand is to use facebbook search to find groups made up of women. You can then "like" the groups and link content to their "walls" when allowed. Having great useful content, tips, how to videos etc, is the key to becoming successful with this tactic.

    best of luck,

One more thing, you can rename your "friend" facebook profile so you can then "like" these groups and then promote having folks "like" your page.

There are many other methods to promote your "page" including advertising.

Hi Steve thanks for your suggestions. The first one is an excellent idea. Do they have to "befriend" my facebook page for my content to appear on their page?

I didn't understand how to rename my friend profile and how this would help people liking my site.

Why not use Facebook Ads to target the people you're specifically after? Read:

    Harvey,

Your audience (fans) can only “like” your business page, they can “befriend” your standard FB profile page. Likewise, you can only “befriend” others standard FB profile pages, and “like” others business pages.

As for what you can post on others FB pages, it depends on how they have set their privacy settings.

btw - after you have 25 “likes” on your business page, you can claim it as a user name.
