Help Naming My Personal Training Business!!!

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi! i have been brainstorming for DAYS AND DAYS trying to come up with a name for my personal training business and would appreciate your advice on the matter. I have come up with this for my vision statement - “Creating healthy happy people who lead clean and active lives as nature intended, reducing lifestyle induced maladies and increasing vitality”
and have come up with my core values and beliefs…
Health is wealth
•It is everyone’s right to feel fit, healthy and full of vitality
•You always feel best when your body is in peak physical condition, I aim to guide my clients toward achieving their best bodies
•Healthy people are happy people, I aim to spread the happiness
•Our modern world has created a disconnect with nature and our raw human qualities, I believe we need to get back to basics by eating clean and moving more.
•Health is simple, stick to the basics: eat clean, naturally occurring foods and move your body often

And these are the names i've come up with which resonate best with me:
- Positively Fit
- Fit Ambitions
- Colour me Fit
- Simply Fit
- Fit and Fresh
- Fresh Tone Fitness
- Fresh Mode Fitness
- Fresh Cut Fitness
- Raw Health and Fitness
- Pocket Rocket Personal Training/Health and Fitness
- Freedom Fitness
- Perky Fit
- Perspire Health and Fitness
- Essential Fitness
- Bodacious Health and Fitness

As you can see i've been brainstorming lots, but i really need a professionals perspective on this one!
Thanks so much, fingers crossed i can stop going crazy soon!

Thanks so much for your thoughts guys! Definitely a big help for me, i've been able to eliminate quite a few of those names. I need a few days to stop thinking about it and then revisit the question, but i appreciate any advice whatsoever. :)

I''d second the advice above, especially around the links to your values and domain names.

I''d also put all your candidates in large letters on boards and try them out with friends, family, etc. - ideally with people who represent your target audience - watch their faces and body language to pick out the words and phrases that grab attention and demote those that create confusion or lack interest.

My suggestion, to add to the pot? Your Core.

To what others have suggested, I would add that while the name and tag should reflect your values & beliefs, it also needs to "speak" to your audience. In other words, it needs to communicate a meaningful benefit to them.

A name suggestion I offer is "Centric," which you could combine with words such as "fitness," "health," etc.

I like this name because I think it gets to the fact that healthiness comes from being centered, and that there is much more to health than one's physical appearance. Once one attains a degree of health, it tends to radiate out into other aspects of one's life, like concentric ripples. This also lends itself to a visual element for your business.

    Good luck to you!

I've come up with 'Every Bit Fit' and have been asking people's thoughts on it, so far people are really liking it. It's quite catchy! What do the pro's think?
