Advertising Slogans? Do They Hav Bad Taste?

A number of advertising campaigns have been charged with using poor taste. Among these have been: United Airlines “we move our tails for you” & English leather’s “my men wear English Leather or they wear nothing at all”Do you agree that these advertising campaigns were in bad taste? Why and why not? Discuss.

    Not offensive at all. I can't even beleive I'm answering this question.

    Are you suggesting the use of the word "tail" to refenence ASS, and "...or wears nothing at at all." MAY imply nudity is even borderline offensive?

    My 95 year old, conservative, devout christian, grandmother get's a kick out the United Airlines commercial.

    I don't even think these would have been offensive in the 50's!! (OK..maybe then...)

    Don't be sorry for speaking your mind. I wouldn't get too riled up about comments from an arrogant, know-it-all student who still lives at home with mommy and daddy (Ravi).

    You didn't offend me. As a matter of fact, I'm with Jim on this one. Obviously, sumerarafari is buying answers to test/homework questons.
