Dissertation Ideas Based On Interests

Posted by dariopires99 on 250 Points
Hello,

I want to write a business management dissertation based on my interests but I'm finding it difficult to narrow down. I'm a big fan of technology in specific mobile advancements, the gaming industry both hardware/software and computer hardware. I'm also very keen on animation programmes especially Japanese or Sci-fi/Dystopian interpretations such as Black Mirror or Brave New World. I do love Formula 1 and snooker too but I would find it more difficult to research those as I'm not a big sports person in general.

The nature of my degree (Business Management) allows for some freedom in terms of topics to explore and I can consider marketing and more as a research approach. That means I'm open to any topic suggestions that I can use as a guide or initial starting point till I reach my final research topic.

Hope you're all having a good day =)

I would look at the topic selection as being a kind of "calling card" for eventually landing a job with the ideal company or employer for you. You will have a familiarity with the industry few other applicants will have, and a prospective employer may see you as a more advanced hire.

So select a topic that not only interests you, but also one that can have significant value for a future employer.

Something about increasingly powerful AI would likely attract attention... Maybe a topic like- "How Advances in Artificial Intelligence are Set to Drive Substantive Changes to the Cost Structure of the Video Game Industry"

Write a list of your six areas of interest, then roll a die: best of three.
