Hello Everybody !

I am looking for an effective Tagline for a perfumes brand which our company is developing. The product is targeted at young, independent and assertive men and women (16-30 yrs).

The tagline should be able to hit at the audience and be able to create a feeling of richness and youth.

I look for help from professionals !

Men and women have very different needs when it comes to smellies. Older men (read 25-30) have different needs and wants to Younger men, Older women and practically everyone else for that matter.

    *************************************************************************
So find your niche, dig deep and mine gold. You aren't going to find it lying around on the surface. Not at least in this day and age. Choose the person you would want as your ideal client - name, occupation, favorite color and what their pet's name is.

In short, for it to be effective, we need to be specific. Once you have that and got that rolling is the time to start broadening out. I hope this helps. Moriarty xx

Are you looking for a name or a tagline? If a tagline do you have a name yet? Cause we can play off that.

But from what you have written, I like the thought of "forever young" or "youth".

The age group you are targetting think they'll be that age forever, they think they're immortal. I can be more helpful though if you can answer my question and know more about the perfume.

BTW I applaud you aren't creating another celebrity perfume. I have a wall of perfume, and not one celebrity perfume. They could have a wonderful scent, but they don't make it to my nose.

Have you researched the target audience? Where do they live? What brands are they using now?

You also need to segment your audience further. Men and women probably won't be attracted to the same names or the same fragrances. They may not even have the same attitudes toward the category.

My suggestion would be to organize some legitimate market research so you can learn about the habits, practices, attitudes and awareness in your category among the various target market segments.

And if it's really a tagline you want, we need to know the name of the perfume brand.
