Advertising Channels For A Bath Furnishings Store

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am soon going to write and after that organise a campaign for a new store for expensive bath furnishings, where all representations of foreign brands will be exhibited. The point is that we need to provoke very quick response to the advertising activities - in sales. Which channels should I combine? Here we do not use internet marketing as much as you do, because most of the people above 30 do not use computers actively. Is there some special advice based on your own background?

You may want to go online and do a google search on "marketing reasearch". There are many firms and websites out there who have compiled data for all kinds of demographic needs etc.

I would also recommend focusing on the customer. Put yourself in their shoes and ask yourself if you would honestly utilize the product you offer for the price. In stead of thinking "I have a classy product, so PICK ME!!", try thinking "Why would they pick me?". Why bath fixtures? Because you like bathes? Does your country they utilize a lot of exlcusive bath fixtures...or do you just think they should? Ask yourself the things.

Another useful tool is in an article by Michael Fischler, founder and principal consultant of Markitek (markitek.com). It is free, easy, and VERY enlightening!

You may also find a TON of info for your project at:

    and

    www.brandchannel.com

I also agree with the above advice of checking into your competetors for info. Very useful and exactly what I did and still do as well as the above.

    Good Luck!

Having once worked in the building design profession, which includes architects and designers, I would absolutely make them a key channel.

Call and arrange for a lunchtime presentation, bring a nice lunch into their office and present your line to the entire group, and then following up regularly (and this could even be via email marketing).

You are sure to get them specing in your product when it is appropriate.

    Hope that helps.
