Taking A New Product To Market

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Being an inventor of a new unique product, we have exhibited in trade shows, used internet marketing, mass e-mailing firms, marketing companys and to no avail we have brought to acheived more sales than the companys we hired. Our budget has been just about depleted. This product has shown great potential for the golfing, souvenir, and gift industry. How do you suggest reaching potential buyers for big firms in retail and promotional industrys. All suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also this product may be viewed at [inactive link removed] for anyones advise. Thankyou all very kindly. Tom

Well, some marketing firms offer to expose your product on a commission based fee structure, therefore no out of pocket for you to start up.

Bu it sounds like you have given up on that...so I would recommend some advertising in the area of kiosks and specialty retailers.

You can start by palcing an ad in the following for under $1000:

    Specialty Retail Report: https://www.specialtyretail.com/advertisingInSRR/whyAdvertise.htm

They have over 30,000 retailers constantly looking for new products.

    Good Luck!

All great ideas, just a few more to add:

Market them yourselves! Get in touch with marketing magazines ("Marketing Week" in the UK) and promote them there as branded promotional items, the comment has been made here that golf is big, so you should have a huge market.

Get samples out, you need people using them and feeding ideas and comments back to you send them to golf pros and big golf clubs.
