Names For Cooking Class

Posted by msshekhani on 125 Points
I am looking to offer halal (similar to kosher) cooking classes. I want a catchy names but I dont want it to sound too religious or limited only to people who eat halal. But I think have some form of "pure, holy, etc" would be catchy. Any idea?

If using halal in your name will either confuse of dissuade people, then don't use it in your name - or be focused on attracting only people who will want halal. Or, instead of mentioning halal in the name, focus the name on the benefit of the food preparation, style, and/or flavor. Halal can be mentioned as one of the "extras".

I'd go the other way to Jay. If Halal is your USP and raison d'etre of the class, then it would seem sensible to use Halal in the name as it defines part of your target market.

    Halal Cuisine Classes

    School of Halal Cookery

Alternatively you could be more specific to a region - Arabic Cooking, Turkish, Persian etc.
