crime scene cleanup wow in my opinion you need to learn to crawl before running you should take the job spend a year or two learning then make the educated decision to open up your own company. If you feel like running first i would look into the national association of crime clean up I found it at www.crimescenecleanup.com
I also noticed a list of company's hiring online
    www.allbiorecovery.com
    www.kricsc.com
    www.biotechrecovery.com
    www.biorecovery.com
good luck remember crawl then walk one day run

To get professional advice on starting your own crime scene clean-up company you may want to first speak with a senior investigator in your regional or local Chief Medical Examiner's office, or speak with someone in your local or state Division of Forensic Sciences.

You also need to know about and be familiar with your competition. If you're going to go into this niche it's essential that you get to know your competition and that you be willing and comfortable in referring them to jobs that you cannot take on, or that you're neither equipped or capable of handling.

To learn more about starting your own company, read more here: https://smallbusiness.chron.com/start-crime-scene-cleanup-business-4510.htm...

However, to own or to start a company in this niche you're probably going to need training and certification courses—EVEN IF you only want to OWN a company.

You will probably need to know and be able show documented proof that you understand and are certified in aspects of bio-recovery processes, which includes bloodborne pathogen training.

This is not something you can circumvent: it's required by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

You can find out more about this training from the American Bio-Recovery Association. Learn more here: https://americanbiorecovery.org

For further information on training, you may find this article helpful: https://crimescenecleanuptraining.com

You will find details on a 26-hour training course that includes a 90 minute exam time (102 True/False and multiple choice questions. Two exam attempts.), 8 certifications, and 2 IICRC CECs here: https://amdecon.com/crime-trauma-scene.html.

This course costs $495.00 + shipping and handling and your exam is included in the fee.

Also bear in mind you'll need liability insurance to cover your presence on someone else's property, and to cover your employees. You'll probably need a place of business to operate from, and LLC status.

Next, you'll need to source suppliers for your personal protective safety equipment needs. You will need personal protective gear, clean-up chemicals, chemical dispersal equipment, and substance mop-up supplies.

You will also need to look into appropriate biohazard disposal contracts and processes, and have reliable and discreet transportation in which to transport you, all your gear, and any and all materials you'll be removing from the sites you work on.
