Ideas For Creative/different Promotional Giveaways

Posted by teensytoesconsignment on 250 Points
I operate a fairly new online children's clothing consignment boutique, Teensy Toes Consignment. We are acting as sponsors/exhibitors at a number of events targeted towards mothers in the upcoming months and I'm looking for creative/different promotional giveaways that we can place in giftbags, etc. Any ideas for something low cost but creative giveaways?

Thanks!

    Small bottles of nail polish?
Small/colorful flip-flops (or just one, and need to come in for the other)?
    Small footprint kits?

Worth looking through the catalog from www.4imprint.com or one of the other major ad specialty houses. Lots of ideas there.

    Heeey teensytoesconsignment ,

a friend of mine who once owned a children's store said that she used to put a coupon in a mailer worth a certain amount of money and no strings attached. You could even make this kind of benefit in advance work for your offline or online customers as well. They could come to your store and buy what they want and use the coupon as cash to knock a little off the price. You could have your graphic artist or talented high school student make you up a money looking coupon with your face on it, a baby's face or a child's face depending on what would inspire your customer. or try this…Create a great black and white flyer in the format of a letter and make copies of it on your home printer or at Kinko's (or whatever company that makes copies in your area). Fold them like a letter and buy some yellow, blue or pink ribbon…tie them off in a bow and put them in your bag. If you need some more ideas…let me know. KEEP SMILING!!!

How else May I SERVE You teensytoesconsignment?

Mothers are your target audience; but does that include new moms, expectant moms or moms of toddlers? Or all of the above? Do you want the giveaways to be targeted to multiple audiences or do you want a blanket giveaway that can apply to all mothers? Is it a giveaway to say thank you or are you hoping to get additional business from it. is there a call to action? Will the children also be attending the events? A quick snapshot of mom and child is a cool giveaway. Are these events seasonal, meaning is it a winter fashion show? Personalized holiday ornaments - have someone there than can stencil child/children's names on the ornament. Are these events educational? Because that would be a different giveaway entirely.

One idea is to tie up with a store that caters to young mothers/women and provide a coupon code or cashback on your website for every purchase made at that partner store.

Since the other business is already established, it will have a captive customer base who will now want to redeem the cashback offer by signing up on your website

    Hi

When you place your stall in a exhibition, you can set up a small photo shoot corner with a colored printer, you can click the pic of mom and kids take print out with a small logo of your company on it and give them then and there.

    hope it helps

    Thanks
