Have you asked them? Have they helped events such as yours previously? What's in it for them?

Call the bank, or stop-in and ask for the name of their promotions manager or media buyer. Tell them you have an event that they may be interested in sponsoring. Talk with this person to find out if they are interested.
The bank may have no interest in organizing your event, but depending on how generous they are in sponsorship, there may be money to hire capable management. Your not wanting to manage it may be a red flag to the bank's sponsorship, though.

In order for any company to promote your event there has to be something in the arrangement that benefits them in some way. Why is it a bank's responsibility to organize your event?
