Important! Problem With Multiple Postings!

Posted by Carl Crawford on 25 Points
Hi everyone,

as some people might have noticed there have been a lot of multiple posting( I had 6 in one question) in the last few days.

This is the error i get when ever i post an answer to a question:

=====================================

n error occurred. Here are the details.

Description: Overflow: 'cint'
Category: Microsoft VBScript runtime
File: /ea/acct_editmyResponse.asp
Line: 10
Column: -1
Source:

====================================
This error happens *before* you can edit your answer.

To stop the double postings this is what i do:

1. write my answers in OpenOffice.org word ( you might use MS word)

2 Copy and paste my answer Completed into the box

3 Hit send

4 then if the error happens hit the BACK button. Then REFREASH the page.

your answer should have been posted.

If this happens to you: please post here and tell us what browser you are using: it might be the cause of the problem.

I am using FireFox 1.0

    When I get the error, I just leave it alone because the posting has been made, even though I did not get a chance to preview.

    If you want to see if this has happened to you, I'd copy the URL from the thread using only the qstID and paste it into a new browser window. If you see your answer at the bottom, then you know you're okay.

    If not, then you can resubmit.

    My $0.02.
