Intoduction Of A New Version Of Software. Problems With New Price/ Old Customers.
We are introducing a new version of our older software program. The new version is great however we want to drop the $39.95 to an introductory price of $ 29.95. My concern is that our customers who have just bought the "old version" will be mad that the new improved version is $29.95. Of course, we can offer them a free up-grade but I was wondering if anybody else had any other helpful ideas. We also want to market the software in a couple different categories but how do we notify buyers that it is the same product just in different packaging? Should we add a couple different features for each market?
