B2B Marketing: Our Shared History and What's Next [Video]

Last week at the incredibly fun, incredibly energizing, incredibly incredible MarketingProfs B2B Forum, a major theme was innovation.

I don't think I'm overstating when I say that last week's Forum was our baddest (in the best sense of the word!) and our best, in part because over the course of an amazing two days in Boston, we learned how the best B2B marketers are sowing new ground: Using new tools to connect with customers, embracing new technologies, challenging the status quo.

From where we here at MarketingProfs sit, we think B2B marketing is a pretty exciting place to be these days...

But here's the thing: It always has been! Sure, business-to-business marketing gets a bum rap sometimes. And B2B marketers get mislabeled as boring.

If you consider the rich and storied tradition of marketing from a B2B angle, you can see nothing but innovation coursing through its veins. Marketing's history is full of people who think differently, who search for new ways to connect, who try new approaches that topple the tried and true and (in some cases) improve upon it.

So we created a symbolic journey to kick off our two-day event in Boston. Here it is:
