Know-How Exchange : Other

A client of mine (I'm in the communications and branding business) is entering the jewelry business designing one-of-a-kind / high-end pieces with pricey semi-precious stones and high quality workmanship to be sold in exclusive boutiques mostly in resort areas throughout the world. We're trying to get a handle on both the U.S. and worldwide jewelry category relative to size, revenues, particpants and their market share, pricing, etc. Besides paying an industry analyst, where can this type of information be obtained quickly and at no cost? I very much appreciate any assistance.
