Editing A Video From Gotomeeting

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
We recently did a demo on gotomeeting with one of our technology partners online with us. She loved the demo and wants to share it with her team - which is a great relationship building opportunity. BUT in the demo is information about a project that we must edit it out in order to share. (Sure NDAs might be a solution - but it would be nicer if we could somehow blur certain areas of the demo). I 'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on software they've used that could do this. Or is there a way to do this within the gotomeeting platform?

If you can download the video to your computer, there's a range of video editing software that can do it (high end: Final Cut Pro / low end: iMovie (Mac) or Windows (Live) Movie Maker).

Blurring out portions of the screen may require a special effect within a more powerful video editing software.

    Dear Kimberly,

You can do this in iMovie https://macmost.com/blurring-an-area-in-imovie-08.html, and in Camtasia https://www.5min.com/Video/How-to-Blur-out-Text-on-Videos-159213475

I hope this helps. Good luck to you.

I suggest you try: free software "Any Video Converter" which is a great format converter. https://www.any-video-converter.com

    Hope it helps.

I've also used Camtasia by TechSmith for that type of thing - and I believe you can still download it for a free 30 days.

    Good luck

Thank you everyone. I download Camtasia which is really great it. It jut turns out that so much text needed to be blurred we're going to make a new demo altogether. But I'm really happy I found Camtasia...I use Jing all the time but had no idea TechSmith had a video editor.
